- Since I retired I have become something of a professional student making use of the Osher Lifelong Learners Institute at Auburn University where I both take and lead classes. I live just across the road from Lake Martin near Dadeville, AL and commute to Auburn (55 minutes) for classes. I am also a bit of a news junkie and decided to create a blog dedicated to news of interest covering both local, state, national, and world news.
